This elegant, romantic 18th century mansion and its magnificent garden have hosted writers, scholars and travelers, including Count Guido Monzino, the last owner of the Villa. It is now a national treasure owned by the Italian National Trust (FAI). The property consists of two residential buildings, a church, and a portico that overlooks a dock, which is the only entrance for wedding events. The main building of Villa Balbianello is furnished with some English and French period pieces which date back to the 17th and 18th centuries
