A historical property from the eighteenth century, maintained for the purpose of hosting events within its tiered grounds and mature trees.
The venue offers multiple indoor and outdoor hosting options for small to large parties, and features a dance club in the caves beneath the Villa. Although there is no on-site accommodation, the Villa offers bridal and groom suites to prepare for the big day. Wedding ceremonies can be held outdoors on the green space overlooking the lake or for bad weather in one of the Villa’s main rooms.

Located in Lenno, a small village in Tremezzina, on the western shore of Lake Como, the Villa offers the utmost privacy and feeling of secrecy for weddings and ceremonies. The villa boasts a huge lakefront park, offering stunning mountain-lake views from the garden terrace. Tucked behind the famous Villa del Balbianello, we suggest a photo shoot there depending on availability.
18th Century History
Villa Monastero PAX was a Roman site, then a convent of the SS. Faustino e Giovita nuns’ order, and finally the residence of the Cardinal Earl Angelo Maria Durini and of his nephew Giacomo Durini. For centuries, lying between the water and the hills of Campo di Lenno, the Villa has been the center of social and economic life. A large park with a pergola and marquee are surrounded by a protective wall, creating secrecy and privacy for your wedding.
